Nope, there’s nothing difficult about making a toastie – providing you don’t burn it. However, they do make an excellent comfort food and a tasty snack.
This is mine: fine diced roast ham, grated mature cheddar, red onion, black pepper, sweet mustard and good mayo, mixed, spread on rye bread and toasted on the Foreman grill until the cheese is melted. Served with a slice of pickled gherkin and a cup of good strong black coffee.
