I am a freelance management consultant with a long pedigree – 23 years running Chestnut Consultants Limited, during which time I have acquired widespread experience in retail banking, telecoms and, exclusively in the past 4 years, at senior levels in the NHS and healthcare sector. I have a Henley MBA-enchanced skillset, but broadly focus my work in these areas:
- Interim management at Director and AD level, primarily in performance, information, strategy, knowledge management and communications
- Troubleshooting operational and strategic issues on a consultancy basis, reviewing options and making recommendations at board level
- Acting as a catalyst for change within organisations, conducting feasibility studies, sometimes developing prototype solutions (eg. performance frameworks), and preparing for internal change programmes.
- Working with senior resources to make step changes to clinical pathways
- Advising new entrepreneurs of all ages on development of business plans
